Products We Use for Treatment:

If you suffer from chronic pain due to an injury, accident, or arthritis, we recommend using Biofreeze. This product is a topical analgesic, which works through a ‘counter irritant’ mechanism. This means that the menthol in Biofreeze creates a sensation that overrides pain signals to the brain.

For our patients with injuries who need added support during performance, we recommend and use RockTape, a special kind of tape known as kinesiology tape. While the use of kinesiology tape is often associated with athletes, the reality is that RockTape is effective for the treatment of a wide variety of problems, not just sports injuries. Ask us today how it works.

The chiropractic profession is a combination of science, art, and philosophy. Each chiropractor uses each element of of the profession to varying degrees, and it is the hope that all three are mastered but balanced.

Diversified Chiropractic Technique - This chiropractic technique is the most popular adjustment technique that is part of the core curriculum while studying to become a chiropractor.

Gonstead Chiropractic Technique - This approach is a manual chiropractic adjusting technique that utilizes a specific adjusting bench and chair to deliver the adjustment.

Thompson Drop-Table Chiropractic Technique - This is one of the gentlest techniques that can be used for someone who is in acute pain.

Activator Methods - This instrument makes a slight clicking sound each time it is used. Each adjustment involves repeating a series of leg checks based on the techniques required to clear subluxations.

Sacral-Occipital Technique - This is considered a non-force technique and is extremely gentle. Our office typically uses it by request, or if a patient’s symptoms warrant the lightest technique.

It has become an extremely useful addition to our treatment tools at Colner Family Chiropractic. It has been particularly helpful in the treatment of stubborn, persistent, and difficult-to-treat conditions, including: chronic back pain and neck pain, arthritis, plantar fasciitis and other joint and muscle pains. The laser gives us the ability to provide you with an improved level of safe, non-invasive, drug free pain relief and accelerated healing of injuries.
